Welcome Betsy Schneider, Dor Hadash's Education Director

Betsy Schneider joins Dor Hadash from South Florida where she has been CREATING JEWISH MEMORIES with families for the past ten years.  As Education Director in reform and reconstructionist synagogues, Betsy has dedicated her career to educating children and their families and bridging the gap between synagogue life and the home.  As a child in Buffalo, New York, Betsy remembers sharing special Jewish times with her parents and sister, which inspires her to offer opportunities for today's families to share fun and meaningful Jewish experiences together.  

At Camp JRF, in the summer of 2002, Betsy was one of the Chalutzim (pioneers) as the Jewish Educator on staff during the very first summer of the camp.  Additional staffing roles have included; The March of the Living and URJ Camp Coleman.   Betsy and her husband, David, live in Scripps Ranch.
