7:00 PM February 5 12:00 Noon February 10 7:00 PM | Tu B'shevat Shabbat
Join us for Kabbalat Shabbat with songs and readings for Tu B'shevat. Bring a food item to share at the oneg made from one (or more) of the seven species: wheat, barley, grapes, figs, pomegranates, olives, dates. Ritual committee will provide the dried fruits and nuts, as well as set up and clean up. Blessing of the Animals - Birkat Ba'alei Hayim As we celebrate Tu B'shevat, we take part in Shmirat HaTeva, becoming guardians of nature. Bring your pets to the 4th Annual Blessing of the Animals, Sunday, February 5 at 12:00 noon in the courtyard. All pets are welcome. Community Roundtable Speaker Toni Blake, JD and MA in Psychology. Professor Zelickman's topic will be the "Three Kinds of Klezmer Music and the Future of Klezmer." Scholar-in-Residence Weekend with Rabbi,educator and author, Dr. Jeffrey Schein.
