Adult education is as important to us as educating our children.
Introduction to Judaism
Begins Sunday, October 16, 10:00–11:30 a.m.
Introduction to Judaism is an engaging 22-session course for anyone interested in exploring Judaism and Jewish life. The course, open to everyone, introduces the fundamentals of Jewish thought and practice, including Jewish holidays and life cycle events, theology and prayer, Israel, history and Hebrew.
Why take the course?
Tuition is $200 for members of Dor Hadash or other Reconstructionist congregations, or $250 for those not affiliated. The fee allows for either one or two people to attend. Couples are encouraged to take the class together.

Soulful Sundays
Dor Hadash adults share, learn and engage one Sunday per month beginning in November. Come and choose from a variety of teachers, topics, and activities.
Torah Study
Study the week's parsha with Rabbi Yael on the second (usually) Saturday throughout the year. Check our on-line calendar for dates or contact Julie White, administrator.
Kehillah Gathering
At the start of each Gesher Sunday session, adults join our children at a Kehillah (community) Gathering for a brief learning opportunity before the beginning of students' Gesher class.
One Book One Congregation
Members meet (Zoom or in person) every two months. Please contact Gayle Weller if you are interested in joining the group. The group will meet in October (date TBD) to discuss Towers of Gold: How One Jewish Immigrant Named Isaias Hellman Created California, by Frances Dinkelspiel.
