Spiritual Life

"Much of our spirituality and comfort in public worship depends
on the state of mind in which we come." - Bickersteth

In our spiritual search, many of us see our texts and traditions as a record of human endeavor, sacred but not supernatural in origin. Many Reconstructionists view God as the power within us that encourages self-fulfillment and ethical behavior, the spiritual energy that works through nature and human beings, and the inspiration for all that gives meaning to life.

Regardless of how you view God, Dor Hadash offers you the freedom to question and study your relationship with God and find your own spirituality whether through worship, study, community, or tikkun olam (Repairing the World).
