Tikkun Olam / Social Justice

Several members of the social justice team got together to write postcards to 18 year olds in Ohio, encouraging them to register to vote. There was no political messages written other than information on voting registration.

Members of Dor Hadash volunteer with First Saturdays, a group that meets once every month on the first Saturday at noon (til 2:30) to sort donated items and distribute them to the homeless. They also make care packs with toiletries and snack items. This group currently meets in the courtyard of Third Avenue Charitable Organization, 1420 Third Avenue San Diego, CA 92101. Not affiliated with any religious organization. Please email the office if you are interested in more information..
